New Project Engineer joins the Mivanor team

Mivanor is taking on new projects, and in line with increasing demand, we have just welcomed Erik Espedal (57) to the team as a new project engineer at our company.
Together with, among others, Mathias Sandvik, he will work on several of Mivanor’s ongoing and new projects.
Broad Experience in Project Work
Erik has broad experience in project work within logistics and technical environmental protection. He was educated at Rogaland District College (now the University of Stavanger), and among previous jobs, he has been involved in the development and delivery of membrane-based water treatment systems.
In recent years, he has been responsible for project management related to logistics, equipment, and transportation.
Now he is ready to work at Mivanor:
– I was looking for a new challenge, and when I came across the position at Mivanor, it seemed like a very exciting environment to be part of, Erik says.
Will Work Closely on the Entire Process
At Mivanor, he will work closely with the technology, customers, and ongoing projects. He will contribute to everything from lab testing of water and preliminary projects to planning, installation, and test runs of MivaMag™ systems.
Erik is looking forward to learning more about the technology and contributing his experience in project management to further develop the structure and methodology in the work.
– I’ve gotten a very good impression of both the people and the environment here, and I’m excited to be part of everything happening in the company going forward, he says.
General Manager and Head of Technology Robert Tarasz is looking forward to working with Erik:
– Erik brings a strong technical background. His previous positions and experience make him a perfect candidate for us. Now we’re looking forward to giving him thorough training in our technology, as well as working together on various projects.
Appreciates the Short Commute
Erik lives in Sandnes and appreciates the short commute to work. He usually bikes, and the trip only takes 12 minutes. In his free time, he likes to stay active. He plays golf at Sola Golf Club, is an avid hunter, and loves to travel.
– I spend a lot of time on the golf course, enjoy hunting, and try to fit in a longer trip now and then, he concludes.
