Many are in a precarious situation

Today, several industries are feeling pressure when it comes to water treatment.

Among these are industries affected by extensive environmental requirements, and they must turn to treatment solutions to ensure that polluted water is not released into nature.

Sales and project engineer, Anders Are, describes how many in the business community are desperate over the requirements and are seeking help:

– We constantly receive inquiries from various industries asking if we can treat their water. We usually start by taking water samples, then assess the needs and figure out what kind of solutions we need to put together.

He adds:

– In Granberg's case, MivaMag™ was the best fit, as the customer prioritized a small footprint and a high solid content in the sludge, in addition to treating the water within the standards set by the Norwegian Environment Agency.

Medvind24 visited and made a video report about the opening. In the video, we see Anders cutting the ribbon and declaring the plant officially opened.

We also see Olav Granberg explaining how the treatment plant works and why the tannery had to invest in new water treatment solutions:

– The reason we built the treatment plant is the environmental requirements. Production has increased beyond what our old treatment plant could handle, and to meet the requirements set by the Norwegian Environment Agency, we had to build a new one, says Olav Granberg, CEO of Granberg Garveri, in the video.

Pleased to deliver treatment solutions to the family business
Robert Tarasz, who was involved in installing the treatment plant at Granberg Garveri, is very satisfied with how the process went:

– It has been a pleasure to install MivaMag™ at Granberg Garveri. Firstly, we got to set up the plant in a beautiful, clean facility, which made our job much easier, he says, and adds:

– In addition, we can say that this traditional family business has set a great example when it comes to taking water treatment seriously. We hope more companies that are subject to treatment requirements will follow in their footsteps moving forward.
