Take off: Mivanor recruits project engineer from aviation
Arild Lode (52) will start his second week as Mivanor's new project engineer. He is a native of Jærbu and now lives in Sandnes. With over 30 years of experience in the helicopter industry, he says it was time to try something new.
With his background in the helicopter industry, Arild brings with him technical expertise and a focus on quality that suits Mivanor perfectly. In addition, he mentions that he got his work ethic from working as a farm boy in his youth, and that he has been a curious type all his life who is always open to absorbing new knowledge.
- Mivanor's technology is exciting, so I look forward to gaining a full understanding of all the solutions we deliver. Fortunately, the desire to learn is certainly present and I am very much looking forward to being able to contribute to the company, he says.

As a project engineer, he will primarily be responsible for project management, installation and commissioning. In addition, he will take care of various technical tasks internally at Mivanor. Arild is looking forward to starting the collaboration with new colleagues and customers.
- I believe that cooperation is alpha and omega, so I am grateful that Mivanor is the type of company that values it. Something else I really appreciate is the social part in sparring with colleagues and in the process of a customer relationship.
Outside of office hours, Arild is a calm and music-loving type. At the same time, he also enjoys some more action-packed hobbies. - It is absolutely brilliant for me to sit in the armchair with a cup of coffee and read the newspaper. On the more active days, there are motorbike and kayak trips. I'm probably more excited about the motorcycle than the kayak, but my partner is the other way around, so here it's important to give and take, he says with a laugh.
Managing director of Mivanor, Robert Tarasz, is very pleased to have the former helicopter technician on board. Now he is betting on a real take-off.
- We are very happy to have Arild join the team and value all the knowledge he brings with him. Now that we have moved to Sandnes, it is also great to have someone with us who is well-known in the area and contributes local knowledge.
